It is also used to treat excess fluid build-up in the body tissues, mostly in the feet, ankles, and legs, due to various conditions such as heart, liver, or kidney disease.
Lasix 40 MG Tablet show side effects like electrolyte imbalance, low blood pressure, headache, dehydration, frequent urination, etc. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. It may also cause dizziness or vision disturbance in some cases.
Guidelines when taking Lasix 40mg Tablet
Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy or your vision is not clear after taking this medicine. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.
Lasix 40 MG Tablet may be taken with or without food. Your doctor may determine the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical condition.
Take it around the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Continue taking this medication even if you feel well. If you stop taking it without consulting your doctor, your condition may worsen. Lasix 40 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have anuria (a condition where the kidney is unable to produce urine).
